The district transport office in Nalanda, India, has submitted a proposal for 16 electric vehicle charging station locations in the first phase, to be developed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) under the central government's PM E-DRIVE scheme. A BHEL technical team recently surveyed four sites, including Biharsharif Government Bus Stand, NH-20's 17 Number Mor, Rajgir Bus Stand and land near Surajpur petrol pump, and approved three locations for charging infrastructure. The Transport and Road Construction departments jointly identified the land for the proposed stations across the district.
