ThunderPlus has launched a 0.5 MW public EV charging station at Kovvur on National Highway 16 in Andhra Pradesh, serving the Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam corridor. The station, located within The Godavari Hub restaurant and stopover, offers 24/7 power availability for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and intercity electric buses. The company plans to double capacity to 1 MW shortly as part of its strategy to develop charging hubs along major intercity routes in Southern India.
