DC Handal installs 60kW Autel DC charger at TMG Mall Tanjung Lumpur in Kuantan
DC Handal has deployed a 60kW Autel DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles on Level G of the covered carpark at TMG Mall Tanjung Lumpur in Kuantan, Malaysia. Pricing is RM1.20 per kWh, and users can start a session by tapping a credit, debit or prepaid card at a contactless terminal, paying by QR via TNG eWallet, or using ChargEV, JomCharge and Gentari Go. The report also notes that DC Handal recently deployed a 240kW DC charger at Zenith Hotel Kuantan.
Why it matters
The app-free contactless card payment and roaming access through several networks show how operators are lowering the barrier to use at retail sites. For CPOs and site hosts, it also points to a pattern of pairing a mid-power charger at a mall with a higher-power unit elsewhere in the same city.
