Wisconsin has approved $25 million in federal funding for 42 new DC fast-charging sites, delivering a minimum of 168 ports across communities including Eagle River, Sturgeon Bay, Viroqua, and Prairie du Chien. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure programme requires each site to include at least four CCS ports capable of 150 kilowatts simultaneously, with equipment supplied by Tesla, Autel, and Gilbarco at locations such as Woodman's grocery stores, hotels, and Kwik Trip convenience stores. WisDOT has not disclosed how many stations will feature NACS connectors, though 93 per cent of chargers currently online include them.
