Hyderabad startup Vanix Technologies is targeting more than 10,000 EV charger deployments over the next three to five years, Autocar Professional reported on 4 September 2026. The company has installed 20 paid residential units across six Indian states, completing around 600 sessions and delivering approximately 9,500 kilowatt-hours over roughly 2,700 hours in two months. Vanix expects about 1,500 units to form the next rollout stage, with India accounting for most installations and export markets including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Why it matters: The three to five year target is a company ambition rather than a secured order book, but the early field data from diverse grid conditions across Indian states provides procurement teams with performance benchmarks for adaptive residential charging platforms. The software-upgradable design and Dynamic Load Balancing feature may appeal to CPOs planning deployments in markets with variable power supply quality.

Hyundai Motor Group signed a memorandum of understanding on 3 September with Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and energy distributor OOMCO to deploy hydrogen fuel cell buses and ultrafast charging infrastructure. State transport operator Mwasalat will trial Hyundai's ELEC CITY hydrogen bus on a designated Green Route in Muscat, while OOMCO subsidiary EVO will operate Hyundai Kefico's 240 kilowatt ultrafast chargers at a petrol station in the Halban area. The agreement, announced on 7 September, targets public transport and services initially before expanding to commercial and passenger vehicles.
