Toyota has announced the 2027 Prius Plug-in Hybrid with an EPA-estimated 44 miles of all-electric range on the SE trim and 39 miles on XSE, Nightshade and XSE Premium models. The vehicle uses a 13.6 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 2.0 litre petrol engine for a combined 220 horsepower, achieving 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds and 51 mpg combined on the SE grade. The 2027 model year adds dual-zone automatic climate control across all four trim levels.
