ChargePoint launches 600 kW Express Solo charger for North America and Europe

By Eve

ChargePoint has introduced the Express Solo, a standalone DC fast charger capable of delivering up to 600 kW, codeveloped with Eaton and announced in April 2026. The unit can simultaneously charge two EVs and pair with an additional dispenser to serve up to four vehicles, with any power combination up to 600 kW per port. It will be ChargePoint's first DC charger sold in both Europe and North America, featuring a compact footprint for space constrained sites such as urban petrol stations and convenience stores.

Why it matters: The 600 kW output and modular design address procurement priorities around high throughput and site flexibility, while direct DC input for solar and battery storage may lower operating costs. Its dual market availability signals ChargePoint's push into European infrastructure tenders alongside its established North American base.
