Himachal Pradesh transport authority rolls out 80 EV charging stations for electric bus fleet at ₹122 crore

Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is installing 80 charging stations across Himachal Pradesh at a cost of ₹122 crore to support its electric bus operations. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri confirmed that 34 stations are already operational, 21 more will be completed within a month, and work is underway at the remaining 25 sites. The network will feature 99 charging points equipped with 180 kilowatt fast CCS 2 chargers at HRTC bus stands and workshops statewide.
