JSW Greentech wins ARAI approval for 12 metre electric bus, enters commercial EV market

JSW Greentech has received CMVR Type Approval from the Automotive Research Association of India for its first electric bus, the JSW 12M 51+D AC SDX, a 12 metre air conditioned model with high capacity seating. The certification allows the commercial vehicle arm of JSW Green Mobility to begin production of the bus, which is designed for urban and intercity operations and targets state transport undertakings and fleet operators. The approval confirms compliance with safety, performance and regulatory standards for Indian roads.
