Volvo unveils EX60 electric SUV with 503 mile range on new SPA3 platform

Volvo has revealed the EX60, its fourth bespoke EV and first model on the new SPA3 platform, offering up to 503 miles of range and competing with the BMW iX3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC EQ in the premium electric SUV segment. The vehicle will launch in the UK from September, priced from £56,850 to £70,360, and will sit alongside the updated XC60 which continues with mild hybrid and plug in hybrid powertrains. Volvo CEO Håkan Samuelsson confirmed the petrol XC60 will remain as a bridge solution while the company pursues its all electric strategy.
