Electric vehicle charging company ReadySteadyPlug has secured $1.51 million from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) under the Driving the Nation Program to roll out its Charging as a Service model in apartment and strata buildings. The grant will support installation of up to 428 charge points, with total project funding reaching $3.49 million including customer and company contributions. ReadySteadyPlug's platform uses standard power outlets with smartphone access control, cloud metering and dynamic load management to avoid switchboard upgrades.
