Solaris reports €1.18bn revenue and 6.3% EBIT margin in 2025, intercity zero-emission bus planned for 2027

Solaris Bus & Coach delivered 1,631 buses in 2025, up 7 per cent year on year, and posted €1.18 billion revenue, a 28 per cent increase on 2024. Low and zero-emission vehicles made up 86 per cent of deliveries and over 93 per cent of sales value. The manufacturer secured 2,780 new vehicle orders during the year, its highest order intake on record, with low and zero-emission models representing 88 per cent of contracts.
Why it matters: The strong order book and shift toward zero-emission platforms signal sustained demand for electric bus infrastructure across European and North American fleets. Solaris's planned 2027 intercity zero-emission range and October APTA Expo debut of a North American battery-electric model point to new procurement opportunities for charging operators serving long-distance and US transit networks.
