ABB E-mobility has partnered with SaveMoneyCutCarbon (SMCC) to deliver its DC fast charging products to UK charging operators. The certified channel partner offers in-house design, grid connection management, installation, commissioning, software, back-office management, maintenance and operational support, alongside flexible financing options. ABB E-mobility works with a selected group of channel partners across Europe, each completing an onboarding and certification programme to ensure consistent installation and support quality.

ABB E-mobility has launched the OM X-Series, a distributed charging system scalable from 800kW to 10MW across more than 100 chargepoints, targeting transit depots, logistics hubs and public charging corridors. A base configuration features two 800kW cabinets connected via a DC bus, supporting up to 24 charging outputs and direct energy storage integration, with the system designed to scale without major construction work. The X-Series follows the A-Series launched in 2024 and the OM M-Series released at the end of last month.

Walmart has partnered with ABB E-mobility to install A400 All-in-One DC fast chargers at seven locations in the Phoenix area, with additional sites in Colorado, Florida, and Georgia as part of a broader US deployment. The A400 units deliver up to 400 kW to a single vehicle or 200 kW to two vehicles simultaneously, with installations underway in Mesa, Tempe, Apache Junction, and Queen Creek. Walmart operates more than 5,200 stores across the US, placing 90% of Americans within 10 miles of a location, and customers can initiate charging sessions through the Walmart app.

Monta has acquired the charge point management software customer contracts operated by Vourity, ABB E-mobility's Nordic subsidiary, in a deal that expands Monta's CPMS presence in Northern Europe. The transaction involves only the transfer of software customer contracts, not an acquisition of ABB E-mobility or Vourity itself. Monta now supervises more than 260,000 commercial charge points and supports over 800 charge point models across its platform.
