SP Mobility has completed the acquisition of more than 1,000 ChargEco EV charging points in Singapore, as reported by The Straits Times. The handover follows the finalisation of a deal between the two parties, consolidating SP Mobility's charging network in the city state.

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore is seeking public feedback on SP Mobility's proposed takeover of rival EV charging operator ChargEco. SP Mobility currently operates 1,311 charging points and ChargEco 1,077 points out of more than 7,300 total charging points across Singapore, according to Land Transport Authority subsidiary EVe. The two firms have told the regulator the deal would not substantially lessen competition.
