Blue Energy Motors and HPCL open Bhiwandi's first heavy-duty truck battery-swap station
Blue Energy Motors (BEM) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have launched Bhiwandi's first battery-swap station for electric heavy-duty trucks, following a strategic partnership announced in January 2026. The facility, located in a major logistics hub within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, enables battery swapping in under five minutes and extends the Mumbai to Pune Electric Freight Corridor launched by BEM in October 2025. The site also includes public EV charging for two-wheelers, four-wheelers and commercial vehicles, creating a multi-segment energy hub within HPCL's retail network.
