Stellantis plans to move many European electric models to LFP batteries in 2027, with no price cuts announced
According to Numerama, in an article published on 30 October 2026, Stellantis chief executive Antonio Filosa said at the 28 October results presentation that many European electric models would switch to LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries in 2027. No full model list, brand breakdown or French dealer timing was given, and Frandroid's 2 November report simply relays Numerama. Stellantis's financial release confirms the results date but does not reproduce the LFP statement, and no priced reduction has been announced.
